Founded in 1982 by Ambassador David M. Walters, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital has long served South Florida’s children with compassion and expertise. Supported by the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation, the hospital continues to expand programs that meet growing community needs. No other children’s hospital in the region matches its longstanding commitment to helping children in need.
Holtz Children’s Hospital at Jackson Health System–Miami cares for over 200 children daily. The hospital offers numerous services to make visits more comfortable, including sleeping areas for parents and siblings, and a family resource center. Patients and families also have access to computers and televisions with condition-specific educational content.
Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital is one of the region’s top pediatric centers, offering comprehensive healthcare in a welcoming, child-friendly environment. As a full-service hospital, it treats everything from minor illnesses and injuries to complex medical conditions. Designed with children and families in mind, the freestanding facility provides advanced care, comfort, and amenities that inspire healing.
Chai Lifeline brings hope and joy to children with serious illnesses and their families through creative, family-centered programs. It supports them throughout illness, recovery, and beyond, while educating communities to show care and compassion. All services are offered free of charge, ensuring every family receives the emotional, practical, and social support they need.
The Mystic Force Foundation was founded by Dr. Steven & Silvia Vanni in honor of their son, who at the age of 4 was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma Cancer. Our main objective is to raise awareness of Childhood Cancer and desperately needed funds for research to bring less toxic, more effective treatments for these children.
Ortho Pediatrics (OP) Specialty Bracing has a mission to improve the lives of children through providing orthotic and prosthetic care to kids. In essence, we custom design devices that allow kids to move and support them for functional activities. OP Specialty Bracing – Davie serves the tricounty area of Dade, Broward and West Palm.
